about studio oddly even
At Studio Oddly Even, we are driven by a passion for creating distinctive and thoughtful spaces across Architecture, Interior Design, Historic Preservation, and Landscape. Our work is rooted in a belief that every project should respond to its context while reflecting a strong sense of identity, materiality, and detail.
Founded by co-founders and Principal Architects Tejal and Nirbhay Shah, Studio Oddly Even brings together diverse experiences across architecture, interiors, historic preservation, and landscape. Together, they have completed a range of projects across Pune, Mumbai, Alibaug, Vietnam, and beyond, allowing the practice to engage with varied contexts, scales, and design challenges.
Tejal holds a Bachelor of Architecture from VITS PVP College of Architecture and a Master of Historic Preservation Planning from Cornell University, New York. Her professional experience spans India, Vietnam, and New York, with a focus on architecture, historic preservation, and contextual design.
Nirbhay is a graduate of VITS PVP College of Architecture and brings professional experience from Pune, Mumbai, Alibaug, and Vietnam. His work spans architecture, interiors, and landscape, with an interest in creating spaces that are responsive to their surroundings and grounded in practical design.
Together, their varied experiences form the foundation of Studio Oddly Even’s design approach—contextual, curious, collaborative, and detail-oriented. The studio believes that good design is not defined by a singular style but by its ability to respond thoughtfully to people, place, material, and time. From residences and interiors to landscape projects and preservation-led interventions, Studio Oddly Even creates spaces that are distinctive, meaningful, and enduring.
